Western Cape Voting Stations: 2026 Local Elections

Voters in the Western Cape go to the polls on Wednesday 4 November 2026 and can only vote at the station where they are registered. The IEC list shows 1,623 voting stations in the province. Choose your municipality below to see its stations, then check yours with the IEC.

Voting stations in the Western Cape are listed by municipality: the City of Cape Town metro and 24 local municipalities in five districts. The City of Cape Town holds just over half of the province's stations (829 of 1,623). Two municipalities, the City of Cape Town (118 wards) and Drakenstein (33), have their station lists split by ward so each page stays easy to use; the other 23 are listed on one page each. The IEC said some voting districts and stations in the province may have changed, so check yours.

Key facts: 25 municipalities (1 metro, 24 local) | 5 districts | 1,623 voting stations | 416 wards in the IEC list
