Koopmansfontein is a village situated along the R31 Provincial Route in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.
The village is located approximately 61 km north-west of Barkly West, 115 km east of Postmasburg, between Kimberley and Hotazel.
Koopmansfontein falls within the Dikgatlong Local Municipality under the Frances Baard District Municipality of the Northern Cape Province.
The village is said to have been named after a Griqua called Koopman, who lived at the fountain.
